A note from our President:
The Rugby Season is approaching and we are making preparations to get everything set up for another season. Registration is open and can be accessed through the website. Get registered early, in some cases, entering the league is dependant on having enough registered players.
Senior men have started practicing (away from the club), Senior women are schedule for a start of April 22nd or 29th (depending on numbers). The other teams (U12, U14 boys & girls, U16 boys and girls, U18 boys and girls) will be notified of their start date by the coaches. Generally, the summer Rugby does not start until late May or early June until after the high schools are finished their programs. We will be updating coaches with contact lists at the end of April and they will be setting up their communication distribution lists.
The practice schedule is posted and we will post the start dates once they have been determined. We have permits for Brock High School and Sunderland Public School for practices. With the number of teams and players, we cannot schedule everything at the club. The players/coaches will determine which site to use away from the club. Brock High School provides a larger field; however it is probably farther away for many players. Last year, all teams except the U18 girls used Sunderland Public School.
