In Need of Coaches for the 2026 Season!
The Brock Rugby Club Green Space 2027 Initiative:
The Brock Rugby Club has located an area about five minutes from the north end of the existing playing field with enough space create another field and a half which could be used for practices keeping the current field free and in good condition for games. Currently our teams are spread out for practices using the club, Sunderland Public School and Brock High School.
The area is clear of trees; however, it will require leveling and finishing with topsoil, grass seed etc. A fund-raising committee has been established to develop ideas the raise the funds. The goal is to raise $100,000 starting now with a schedule to start work in 2026 and have the space ready for the 2027 playing season.
Working through Rugby Canada we have set up a charitable foundation which can provide a tax receipt for any donations (Brock Green Space Capital Fund).
We will be sending the information out to all our members and putting it out on social media as well. We are contacting the Alumni for two things:
a. Any help in organizing and advertising the fund raising, whether on the committee or taking on part of the work.
b. Donations towards the project (tax receipt will be provided).
